I bought dish -tv ahead of tata sky because of 6 month free subscription scheme and more number of channels, however, later I came to except for first one the claim by channel are all farce.
More number of channels are account of radio FM channels out of which some are not in your language.
Now let us come to discuss service, the person who came to install was from dealer and not company hence no proper installation was done, actually by this dealer and local people involved save money, and further now since dish tv service team says since this installation was done by dealer so they cannot rectify the signal problem and I need to replace the LSB, the signal acceptor???
The customer care cell has following problems-
-It does not take your call and if it takes it puts you on hold for long without any intimation of how long this hold would be.
- False promise both from service team, customer care and local dealer to solve the problem, and in fact no support.
-Cheating customer- Initial installation was done by dealer’s men and not company, the person for installation was inept and could not install it properly, no proper signal and charged the customer for installation, later Dish TV service people come and inform that the installation was not done properly, and hence now the LSB to be replaced will be chargeable.
- Total mismanagement of customer complain, no track record with customer care on customer complain and every time a customer calls customer care, it has to go through the harrowing experience of informing his problem agan and again, it is as if customer care wants to add salt on the wounds of customer.
In the nutshell, I suggest that customer service is very important, and there is no point in buying a dish tv connection if you cannot get to see all the channels and that the picture quality is very poor, and on top of it customer care sucks!!
Also each one of us buys to have a good time and not a harrowing experience with Dish TV, so I strongly recommend not to buy dish tv at all.
