Just did a test drive of tata zest today. While the 3 years roadside assistance and 3 years free maintenance is a lucrative offer, what really matters is automobile performance when you hit the road especially places where the engine needs to perform at max. Just a lil smile and the sales guy allows me to hit the tannir bhavi beach road.
I raced the car at full throttle and trust me a torque of 140 Nm is good enough to get you racing at 100 in 8 seconds flat a decent score considering the bracket zest falls in. Qudrajet 1.3 liter claims fuel efficiency of 20. Clutch free is the best par so I acn sit with me legs wide open without worrying abt transmission;)
But I think pricing will play a key role in decision making especially since tata products are known to be priced lower they do fairly average when it comes to maintenance but then that is taken care of by the 3 year back up by the manufacturer.
So all in all seems a fair deal for the high end model at 6.5 lacs.
But I am in no hurry to buy. Ill wait for a few more mini suv launches and then take a call .bye guys:
