ZEST XT Revotron, well sorted out product, no niggling issues so far. Done more than 16, 000 trouble free kms in two years without a hitch.
Pros- feature rich, safe NCAP 4 stars(XMS/XT), lots of driver aids, responsive engine, decent mileage(13-14) in City mode, d same as d much lighter Amaze petrol(second family car). The ECO mode gives as high as 17-18 in city conditions but I hate to use it, just kills d throttle response and make it riskier to drive in my opinion(cant safely overtake or change lanes in city traffic). Honestly used it only once to get the idea of the fuel averages, Sports mode is fun, average hovers around 10-11. AC always on.
Icing on d cake is d HK Music system, even cars with twice d price don’t sound half as good.
As with all TATA cars, lots of space insde.
Seats are comfortable, offer lots of support, suspension well sorted out and smoothens out the roads, to top it all, does it work quietly.

Cons- 1) Boot has a high lip, makes it tougher to load stuff in.(compared with the amaze) 2) I have an android working with a Cyanogen mod, the ICE no longer reads the phone book after the latest Cyanogen update. works fine with the other android phones in the family. 3) The Navigation system ought to be built-in rather than phone based, adding a GPS and another SD slot ought not to be very expensive or technically challenging.
The dealerships have improved, (we had 2 safaris earlier from the same dealer). TATA keeps them on a tight leash. Nearly as good as our Honda dealer.
