It is kind of surprising to see rave reviews about Purple Haze but absolutely nothing written about Tavern at the Inn. True that it doesnt match up, but in my opinion Tavern is a very worthy second placer. For people who find PH too loud, or for people who prefer a slightly more sober environment to get drunk(!!?), Tavern is the place to go to. Dont miss the theme evenings (music of a selected band/artiste is played through the night) - there are usually some prizes to be won. DJ is probably not as forthcoming with accepting your requests but dishes out a neat lineup anyway. Put this down as another stop on your ’’Experience Bangalore’’ trip - it’ll be worth it.

As the category in which this opinion lies indicates, Tavern is a pub in Bangalore. It is done up to give an English pub feel to it, ie; more than being just a place people come to to get drunk, its a place where you can meet people over a drink or two. Being exclusively a beer person, I can only tell you that the beer rates are the standard Bangalore prices. Music is 70s-80s rock. Vallet parking is available, if that is what you want. If you are raving about Bangalore’s pub culture and you havent visited Tavern, then it is sufficient to say that your experience is incomplete.
