I bought the TCL DVD player some 4 years back since it was the cheapest DVD player available in the indian market. It’s initial pricing was about Rs.18000 then there came an offer, they reduced the price of this and made it to Rs.13, 500 with 5 DVD’s free!! Though I expected that all the 5 DVD’s would be of some hit english movies but they weren’t! they were Hindi movies!! and that too flop ones!!! and they had mentioned in the ad that the DVD’s would be sent to the customers within 4 weeks after the purchase but it took about 4 months that too after I complained to the dealer!
Two years after the purchase, problem started cropping in! The optical lens had got damaged due to moisture and the DVD player had to be sent to the dealer for repairing. That was a minor problem. But today it’s got’s a different problem! It’s has got some loose contact in the wires and does’nt ON! I had taken the DVD player to dealer for repair. He repaired it. It started working properly but after three days again the same problem! Now i’am thinking of selling it and buying a new DVD player. Maybe samsung or LG.
