I purchase this TV for the guest room abut 3 months back from amazon india (thats the only way you can buy!!) I paid around Rs 12000 for it. YES. The amazon page is quite good & compared it with LG/sony etc.

Pros :
its 3-4 kgs only!
picture quality is good (although it is HD ready)
sound is VERY good
enough ports at the back
18 months warranty instead of 12
Cons:
no phone jack for a headphone/external audio system
the stand is not well designed for resting on table. The legs are quite wide for such a light equipment
