Ignore team-bhp, moderators are bunch of lunatics

I am an ardent automotive fan. I love bikes more and cars less. I found two very good sites having very good user base and pretty good content on the automotive arena. team-bhp.com and xbhp.com were those two, where the former has forums on cars (predominantly) and bikes and the later is exclusive for bikes.

I have been fan of both sites read the article regularly, after sometime I needed to purchase a vehicle so I decided to join both and connect to others and discuss. Joined xbhp, then tried to join team-bhp, and rejected by the moderators stating that my answers to questions like "Why team-bhp?", "Which policy (is vital to team-bhp)?" "What is your favorite car?" were not answered in detail. Then I tried with detailed answers, I took decent amount of time and filled in the questions, surprise surprise, was rejected again.

Then, I took really long time to go through all their policies and pick one, also read a lot about my favorite car and then I did prepare the answers for above mentioned questions offline first, corrected the grammar, did spell-check, did word-count and registered again.

Rejected again, what the hell. I am someone who is not a quitter, I then tried for 3 more times with proper answers changed sentence formation user lucrative phrases added more facts and know what rejected all the times.

Only then I realized, there is something going wrong there. Then I searched the web about user feedback and found so many are being harassed in the form of registrations. Following is the standard reply all the users who are rejected by their stupid moderation process get

"We are sorry, but your Team-BHP membership could not be approved. As you might know, the “Why Team-BHP?”, “Which policy?” and "Which Indian car?" fields play a crucial part in the selection of our members. We are very particular about the answers you provide in your application, so do give them some thought when applying. Please pay very close attention to the guidelines provided on the registration page, as disregarding any of them will negatively affect your application."

They do have rights to reject, I agree, but the reason they give is simply stupid. Because, I did follow everything and did a more than decent attempt to register not once, not twice by 5 times (except the first time where my answers were short) I think its best to ignore this site which is run by bunch of lunatics and morons.

There are other good sites for automotive fans like theautomotiveindia.com and thegearheads.in. We just need to ignore team-bhp and start joining the other sites and sooner team-bhp will die.
