I am a diploma student of Techno India University. Before joining the university, I thought that it will be an awesome experience joining this university. But, bullshit! Before joining, the admission cell will make you see big dreams and after taking the semester fees from you, you realise the truth behind it. Teachers are more than worse. They know absolutely nothing. Labs are disgusting, not using latest technologies. Everywhere in the campus, only flirting with girls keeps happening. Btech badges are horrible, except a few good ones. If you are in trend, you must have seen in abp ananda news that one of our classmate in diploma badge was badly beaten up by TIU Btech 2nd and 3rd year badge. The first few months, only ragging happens. Everyone openly smokes outside the college. Teachers do nothing when you complain to them against anything. They will just say that its your matter, you understand. The first few months when you join TIU, you will have to strictly do what your seniors say, from dress code to your shoes and belt. They will instruct you what to wear, full sleves shirts, only formals. There will be ragging and teachers will speak nothing. Absolutely bullshit! There are no placement facilities. More than 80% students are unemployed after their graduation. No placement for electronics, electrical, mechanical, civil etc. Placement only for computer engineering and even within them, there is 80% unemployed. They also take large amounts of money unexpectedly. They have taken 4000 for giving us a kindle. Its been 4 months, not recieved anything. Seniors come suddenly and say that only civil students have to pay rs.500 for a programme thats happening tomorrow. Again next day, only civil students have to pay so and so money for this. Just random wastage of money. They will force you to take part in sports and fests even you dont like them. This is a bullshit university. I have left it since a week ago. I have joined another university. I would recommend you all to get into any university you like, but not TIU for Gods sake.
