>Teknik Motors near HSR police station, iblur, sarjapur road is the most unfortunate place to give your RE for a service. unfortunately I found teknik to b nearest to my place and took my new TBTS for the 1st service.
>This was certainly not the first time I was servicing a bike, neither was it the first time I saw a service station/workshop. Firstly their service station is not fully equipped at all. I was expecting it to be cleaner and well kept if not to be very big. you neighborhood mechanic would have a better equipped shed!!
> I gave the bike at 9 am sharp, and was asked to take delivery by 3 pm... so I did. At 3 pm they say bikes not washed, it will take 1 more hr. finally I got the bike after 4 more hrs of waiting. And yes they apply some shitty substance on the bike in the name of polishing, that too is done by a small kid (child labor!!) the invoice/bill they give for the payment made is also a crude one with no name of their establishment, no address, no TIN no. etc, just a piece of paper with the charges printed on it.

I had no option but to cancel the trip and take the bike straight to teknik. gave the bike in the morning first thing. they promised to replace the gasket and give the bike back by evening. To be sure I called in the afternoon to check the progress, again they assured me that it will be done by evening. When I called in the evening, I get a cold reply saying that work on my bike has not even started and that they cant give the bike today. when asked why they started giving wierd excuses. I told him whatever it is I am coming today to confront and see what the matter is. to my surprise when I reached after about 30 mins, they say my bike is ready and gave it to me. I asked them if they replaced the gasket, they said there was no need to replace it. the bolts were loose due to vibration. I was not completely convince with their explanation but took the delivery hoping all is fine.
> another week later, I was on the same trip I had to cancel last time. just out of the city and there goes the gasket again, entire oil drained out of the engine. trip cancelled again!! U-turn to teknik. this time they dont even acknowledge me bringing the bike some days ago. again they ask me to leave the bike with them. I had enough of these crooks. I shouted at them to my hearts content and gave the bike to a small time mechanic (nizam) who has his workshop right next to teknik.
> this mechanic tells me that during servicing at teknik, they had ill-tuned the bike. they dint even screw/unscrew a single bolt on the bike when they were supposed to change the gasket and that they just washed the bike and gave it back to me!!

> few days back I happened to go to teknik again, not for a service service (i had learnt my lesson!) but to buy a replacement for the rear view mirrors. first they hand me mirror of a different model (without cover and packaging) and try to convince me that this is the mirror for TBTS. Then they gave me another piece which was well packed and assured me its for TBTS. after the billing and payment I immediately opened the packaging and recognized the mirror to be that of classic 350. I return it back and ask for the right mirror. they say they don have stock and that they have been selling these mirrors for TBTS and that it is perfectly alright!!. I ask for refund. at this they call a mechanic to address the situation. he goes inside the store room and I follow him inside and see him searching for a mirror in a heap of mirrors. He handed me all types of look alike duplicate mirrors which one gets in the automobile markets for cheap. I knew how the original mirror looked like and this guy was trying to rip me off with a cheap duplicate look alike. I insisted for a refund and had to be stern. The store manager asked me to speak to owner- Anand. Went and argued with him. Finally got my money back and got the hell out of that place!!
