A little too far from India

Temptation Island might have sounded like a great idea on paper by the creative heads behind it.

But when it comes to real execution, the idea didn’t really sizzle or sparkle on screen at all.

To begin with, a relationship is a very personal thing and to watch someone else break down in the middle of a show isn’t really entertaining.

The couples who did decide to take part in it have to be commended. Personally, why would anyone want to test their relationship ? It is anyways so difficult, in today’s times, to find that someone who you can share your life with. And to go ahead and make a mock of your feelings for a television show sounds like too far-fetched an idea.

But like I said, people who did think it was the right thing to do, hats off to them.

The show fizzled out on account of the fact that it wasn’t a real show. In real life one wouldn’t be tempted with so many gorgeous looking women in the same day or even in the same week. So to begin with the situation was not one that would be possible in real life.

To imagine a show like this to be picturised in India with Indian couples participating was far beyond imagination. No matter how forward we might think we are in our living styles but when it comes to certain matters related to the family we still hold close our traditional values.

Coming back to the show, it failed to generate interest and also failed to generate any sympathy for the couples participating in the show.
