TOP 10 MOVIES of 2007(SEE ONCE)

First of all before giving the list of my TOP 10 films, I want to say that:

The whole list is according to the movies I watched and I liked. This has nothing to do with any BOX OFFICE report. I also want to say that some of the classic movies had not been included in this list only because I had not watched it, although they must be nice movies:

So here you are. I am starting by No.10

NO.10: Awarapan/ Harry Potter 5 (the order of phoenix)-

Awarapan

Cast: Emran Hashmi, Shriya Saran, Mrinalini Sharma

Directed by: Mohit Suri (Kalyug fame)

Awarapan is usual flick from Mukesh Bhatt still it is a nice movie to watch atleast once. The songs are marvellous, with good music. One Important thing: Imran Hashmi had no kiss here, and amazingly in the films where he didnt kiss anyone make his performance and the movie watchable.

Harry Potter 5

Cast: Daniel Redcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson

Directed by: David Yates

A nice movie, which continues the tale of Harry and Gang in search of the black man Lord Voldemort. The difference is that it is a lighter movie than its previous versions and its more of a darker movie.

NO.9: Cheeni Kum/Bhool Bhulaiya

Cheeni Kum

Cast:Amitabh Bachchan, Tabu, Paresh Rawal

Directed by:Balkrishnan

A nice sugar-free comedy about a man loving a women of half his age and where the girl’s father is also younger than him. Very nice tale of new romance directed by Balakrishnan. NOTE: The movie is shot on sets, which revealed like London.

Bhool Bhulaiya:

Cast:Akshay Kumar, Amisha Patel, Vidya Balan, Shiney Ahuja

Directed by: Priyadarshan

Its a comedy+horror-style movie from Priyadarshan. The comic scenes are just good enough to tickle you and psychiatric plot is one of its kind. Remember the nashe wala gaana "Hare Krishna Hare Ram". Although movie is derived from a Rajnikanth-starrer Chandramukhi.

NO.8:Dhamaal

Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jafferey, Ashish Chowdhary

Directed by: Indra Kumar

Indra Kumar again proved that if he started using pranks in a movie then he has skills to make audience laugh. Its an all-boys affair, where these 5 chaps plus some other characters are behind a hidden Khazana in GOA, and creates really funny situation en-route to Goa.

NO.7:Taare Zamin Par

Cast:Aamir Khan, Darsheel Safary

Directed by: Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan with a nice story of a dyslexia-suffered child’s life made this movei wonderful. The acting of Darsheel as a dyslexia-suffered chid is marvellous, and the plot of making him normal is great alongwith great songs. Aamir does one or two movies a year but all he does is best.

NO.6:I Am Legend(hollywood)

Cast: Will Smith, Alice Braga

Directed by: Francis Lawrence

Will Smith, only survivor of the century, where most of the people died of an airborne-virus, and remaining becomes Zombies suffered from Virus and which attacks on any survivors in night--- really a nice plot with many horror scenes to watch, which make audience’s heartbeats to tickel a bit.

NO.5:Jab We Met

Cast: Shahid Kapur, Kareena Kapoor

Directed By: Imtiaz Ali

Its a nice movie about a runaway girl and a pareshan boy. Both meets and liked each other and its a nice movie about some comic situations and its a journey-movie with all the masalas u want, but still its different from many on-the-track movies.

NO.4:Shootout At Lokhandwala

Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arbaaz Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Tushar Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan

Directed by: Apoorva Lakhia

Apoorva proves himself from this movie, but his last movie "Mumbai se aaya mera dost" was a bogus movie. Watch the acting of all characters in this movie. Based on a true story, it is filmed as it was. Watch out Tushar and Vivek’s acting as bad guys.

NO.3:Namastey London

Cast: Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif

Directed by: Vipul Amritlal Shah

Its a comedy movie with Akshay once again proving his comic skills. Note Katrina with his original voice for the first time in movie. Story is of a Punjabi boy weds a London based gal, who is not interested in Indian culture anyhow. But Akshay did it and make the gal love to himsalf. What a nice music from Himesh Reshammiya, and you can hear songs sung by him in this movie. Really!!!

NO.2:Guru

Cast: Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Mithun Chakraborty, R Madhavan, Vidya Balan

Directed by: Mani Ratnam

Mani Ratnam always make the nicest movies in Bollywood, each with a different storyline. This time he make a movie inspired by Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani’s life. Songs and locations are beautiful.

NO.1:Chak De India

Cast: Sharukh Khan with a bunch of new girls

Directed by: Shimit Amin

What a movie it was!! UNEXPLAINABLE.. Its a movie about feelings, its a movie about patriotism, its a movie about manegerial skills, it a movie abou a game i.e. Hockey, its a movie about INDIA and We INDIANS. Rest I dont want to tell because this movie had become a history, as a golden page in Bollywood Cinema History’s book.

Some movies which I watch or didnt watch but are good ones i.e. one-time watchable:

Om Shanti Om, Manorama six feet under, Johnny Gaddar, Black Friday, Dil Dosti etc etc.
