SHENSHA (Part I)

To write just few words about Mr. Bachchan is not fair. So I have decided to write about his top 10 films in two or three parts. Note: Films are just numbered.

  1. DEEWAAR (1975). Starring:AMITABH BACHCHAN, PARVEEN BABI, NEETU SINGH, IFTEKHAR KHAN, SHASHI KAPOOR, NIRUPA ROY, MADAN PURI.

Story of two brothers, going to two different opposite points of life, elder becoming bad man other good cop, to keep their mother happy. In this cold war of brothers mother getting tensed to whom with live and to whome give love.

Big B playing the role of an elder brother (Vijay) giving the sensational performance; who wants to good son, good brother, good lover, good father but destiny taking him to some other way. Scence on Big B and Shashi Kapoor are high class.

Dialouges of Salim-Javed, delivered by Big B and Shashi Kapoor made to hear it again and again. Big B holding the face of an angry man whole film doesn’t leave the bearing of role at any time.

’ Mere paas Maa Hain ’ and many other dialouge are highlight of film.

About rest of 7 films after some days.

  1. SHOLAY (1975). Starring:AMITABH BACHCHAN, DHARMENDRA, HEMA MALINI, SANJEEV KUMAR, AMJAD KHAN, JAYA BHADURI.

To write just few words about this film is doing an injustice on this masterpiece, which I have to do. Big B in the role of Jai showing shade of commedy, emotions very well.

This ’ Larger than Life ’ film had an excellent editing showing the flashback of all characters without any confusion.

Mr M.S. Shinde who won the best editor for the film was only award film won in 1975`s filmfare. Success of the film is that audience remember the name of each and every character .

  1. KALA PATTHAR (1979). Starring:AMITABH BACHCHAN, SHASHI KAPOOR, SHATRUGHAN SINHA, PARVEEN BABI, RAKHEE, NEETU SINGH, POONAM BABI, PREM CHOPRA.

To me this film is best ever film directed by Mr. Yash Chopra in his career. Film based in the difficulties faced by people working in the coal mines.

Big B playing the role of coal mine worker who is an dismissed from the service because of leaving all passengers in the ship and escaping from duty. His father gets disturb and ask him to leave the home. Big B does the good job showing the disturbance of his mind and life.

But show is still by Mangal play by Shotgun Sinha firing the dialouges in each of his scence. Whole film Big B and Shotgun never spoke the single word to each other on and off the screen.

Salim-Javed dialouges are great. ’Tisre badshah hum hain’, ’Mangal ka khoon koi lemon soda nahin jo vijay jaise ange ponge aake pe jaye’ need to be hear from only Shotgun.

Rakhee and Neetu Singh role were also well written. The film give experience of art and commercial film.

About rest of 7 films will be soon updated.
