One of the toughest jobs!!!Every film he did was better than the best.Hand-picking the best of his movies is certainly hard.But I wanna do justice for the topic!
Can I?Yah..I can, But I’ll just list out a few of his movies that inspired me and said ’’Kamal never acts but lives in that movie’s circumstance’’.Gifted actor.
I admit that the list is 100% incomplete.I know it.Still justice to the Topic
1.Moondram piraiSadma:
Performance Unlimited.I’m not a sentimental guy who cries and weeps for scenes that rock your heart.But my heart wept for the first time for the climax.Good performance by sridevi also.The film was directed by Balumahendra.

2.Mahanadhi:
Wow!Thats mind blowing acting!The way the movie goes from tanjore district to all places and comes back again and the performance of kamal who lived in the film made me spell bound.
SoM-When Kamal meets his daughter in Calcutta.
3.Unnal Mudiyum thambi:
K.Balachander’s movie and has all the typical stuffs of him.The revolutionary son of a classical singer is played by Kamal and the acting is just more than excellent.
SoM-When he meets the person who dies of an accident , and kamal feels he could have saved him.
4.Guna:
My Gawd!!!Where does he get the talent from?The mentally affected fellow is carved in the character and I bet none other than kamal can do this.
SoM-When Kamal is informed that his mom is dead and knows it was a fake as he sees his mom!
5.Virumaandi:
Stunning Direction, Splendid performance forms Kamal’s ’’Virumaandi’’.The innocence in the character etched out in each scene.
SoM-When his Grandma dies and in the second half.
6.Hey Ram:
Kamal’s first directorial venture is the best.The movie depicted realistic communal riots and it was too realistic to bear.Illyaraaja’s astounding music was the greatest plus.
SoM-When Rani and Sharukh struggle at the verge of death.
7.Nayagan:
One of the best films Indian film industry had seen.God father style movie.Kamal wasn’t present in the movie only Velu nayakkar.
SoM-When his son dies.
8.Micheal Madhana Kamarajan:
Hmmmm..who can do this performance in the industry.I guess impossible.The fopur characters had a seperate identity for each other and Kamal rocked!!!
SoM-Almost everywhere
9.Salangai oli:
I would bet my head no one can do this role except kamal and no famous actor in the industry has played a classical dancer character with such precision.Hatsoff!!!
SoM-When Shailaja asks kamal sarcastically ’’what do u know about dance?’’ and kamal answers it with his dance.
10.Anbe sivam:
Partially mutilated face, Big lensed glass, shaded teeth and thus appeared kamal in this film and again who else can try such a role?Madhavan was excellent supporting kamal in this film.
SoM- When he sees his face partially mutilated after the accident in a mirror.
There are still a lot of films like Devar Magan, Indian, Thenali, varumayin Niram sivappu, Mumbai express(Though it is a mega flop), and mostly every film of him.Probably I would like to include the singing , directorial performance too...but the topic doesn’t let me to.
Kamal Hassan is one of the century’s performer and no one can deny that.Though many of his films din’t do at the box, they have a very strong subject and peak performances.
