*10 games that kept me hooked to the pc for hours*
*1.gta3:** this is the kind of game I always dreamt of. There’s a lot of action in it accompanied with a lot of driving. the concept of the game is really unique and very interesting. u play a guy who is offered several jobs by big mafia bosses and have to go through some amazing driving and killing to complete them. Weapons like flamethrower, sniper rifle, Molotov cocktails, pistols, machine guns etc are available. U can steal cars and stealing police cars(vigilance missions), ambulances(paramadic missions), taxis(taxi missions, in which u have to take a person to a particular place in fixed time) and firefighting trucks gives u several missions too. There’s a plane called “dodo” n tanks too! Graphics are excellent and handling of cars is really good .To sum up, this is truly a superb game. Plz try to play without cheats coz they spoil all the fun.
*2.hitman-**I bought hitman codename 47 recently and found it gr8. In this game u play a hitman who is asked to assassinate important people in different parts of the world for a lot of money . u get a variety of weapons to choose from to perform the task. This game really needs a lot of brains and planning and most people cant play it without seeing walkthroughs from the internet. The game has decent graphics and most of the environments are highly detailed and make playing the game a pleasurable experience. The sound effects are also excellent . The only backdrop of this game is that no in-game saving is available n if u are killed in the middle of the mission, you have to do the whole thing again.
*3.max payne- **I love this game( n u’ll 2) because of its awesome graphics. Everything is highly detailed and the game also has good sound effects . u play a person whose wife and baby have been killed and is out for vengeance. The most interesting thing is the slow- motion feature of this game which simply is outta-this-world. There are a lot of weapons like sawed off shotgun.berettas, desert eagle, ingams, M-21 and jackhammer to choose from.
*4.the sims:**this is a very interesting game in which u have the command of a family . U need to take care of their basic necessities like hunger, nature’s call, interior n exterior of the house, fun, etc. u need to get them a decent job and help them socialize. So far, I have played only the basic “the sims” version and the “sims house party” extension which I liked a lot. The graphics are also good. u’ll really love this game!
*5.prisoner of war-**this game is based upon an American pilot who is trapped in german prisoner camps. It seems boring that all u have to do is sneak out of the camps, but I am telling u, it is one of the best games I have played so far. U have to attend roll calls everyday in the mornings and in evenings. It is only between this time that u can complete your missions or there’ll be a campwide search and u’ll be caught. The graphics are excellent and sound effects r decent. Again, try to avoid cheats.
*6.zoo tycoon-**this is a really good game in which you have to make your own zoo. you need to make good exhibits with the suitable type of terrain, plants, soil etc for the gr8 variety of animals available to keep them happy(otherwise people wont visit the zoo and u wont get any money) u can also put up zoo buildings like restaurants, drink stands, restrooms, ice cream stands to fulfill the requirements of the guests. zoo attractions like elephant rides, carousels, petting zoo, aviary etc are also available. U get money from guests visiting the zoo and from donations to different animals of the endangered species list. This is a highly addictive and must-play game
*7.age of empires(both age of kings n conquerers):** this game is very interesting though it becomes very difficult at times. excellent graphics and sound effects. U have to put villagers at work and maintain your stocks of food, wood, gold and stone to advance to superior ages, construct new buildings and make the army strong. U have to protect your area and try to eliminate others. U can also play Interesting campaigns of several gr8 rulers. multiplayer games are also available. A must-play game.
*8.delta force task force dagger-** though the graphics of this game r not as good as max payne or gta3, it still has a lot of things in store for us. It is based on the American war on Afghanistan .there are a lot of characters and weapons to choose from . Some of the missions In this game are very good. sound effects are good.
*9.need for speed(3 and above)-**these are undoubtedly the best car racing games with excellent graphics and sound effects. the hot pursuit versions(3 and nfshp2) are very good
*10.cricket 2002:**for cricket fans, this is the best cricket game available. graphics are good and player movements are adorable(especially the hook shot). commentary is much better than other cricket games in which the commentator keeps on repeating the same things over and over again. it is necessary to have a good video card with latest drivers to make the game run at a good pace.
