The old mothers are shown sobbing at the other end of the brick wall, hoping against hope that the songs never stop.

An evergreen song that will always ooze positive energy, enthusiasm to achieve the impossible.
Bhuvan, a poor farmer builds a team of villagers to win a cricket match against the ruthless British. The song reveals hopes to win the bread winning match and their despise for the British when they sing’ Wohi jo tera Zaalim hai. ki hai jisne tabahi. Ghar unka paschim hai, yahan na basne paaye’.
- Hoto pe aise baat(Jewel thief)
Vajantimala, the dancing doll with fear written all over her face, trying so many things at the same time, enthrall the audience with her steps, preventing Dev from looting the king’s crown, helping him to revive his memory etc.
A classic piece of dance and emotions.
- Dil ka bhavar kare pukaar(Tere ghar ke saamne)
Dev and Nutan do the duet inside the beautiful winding Qutub Minar.Dev tries to make subtle hints about his love and Nutan, though coy.smiles with expressive eyes which convey what he wants to hear.

Sridevi’s hottest number till date and one of the hottest dances in Bollywood with an invisible hero, need I say anything more?

I find this song very romantic. Ash looks stunning in all the jewellery and bright clothes and the hide and seek that goes between them goes through various fleeting emotions of childish leg pulling, jealousy, surrender and tears.
7. yeh kahan aagaye hum(Silsila)
The forbidden love of Amitabh and Rekha sizzles on the screen with melodious Shiv Hari tunes and Amitabh quoting passionate verses. Rekha’s stunning beauty, the breath taking locales and the entire aura makes it one of the most romantically picturised songs of hindi cinema .
8. Sach mere yaar hai(Saagar)
Kamal the looser tries hard to not show his feelings for Dimple and yet he cant hide it. Pancham and Kamal together make it a memorable song.
9. Daiya re .Bichua.(Madhumati)
Vaijanti again, the music, the dancers, the pain of the scorpion’s sting and the direction. Defly amongst my top 10.
10. Roop tera mastana(Aradhana)
Debonair Rajesh with the dimpled sharmila. Temptations, Lust, Love and’rokh raha hai. hum ko Zamana.’ . Brilliant performances by the two without actually singing the song.
