The Ten Best Remixed Songs of 2003

Mainly, this review is just ranking the top ten remixed songs of 2003. The number I have put them under does not necessarily mean that I like this song more or less. It’s just to show you how many songs are left.

I think the reason why people don?t like old songs remixed is because the videos are pointless, or because the remixing company hasn?t done a good job with the music. Some of these songs I have chosen have stupid videos, but the songs are remixed good, and I can guarantee you will agree.

10

Sajna Hai Mujhe-Vishali(Pretty Lady and Lady Mix)

Movie: Saudagar Originally sung by: Asha Bhonsle.

The’Pretty Lady’ mix is better to listen to as it has more music. It has extracts from the song’Hey Pretty Lady’. I haven’t viewed the video therefore I am unable to comment on that. This song can be found in many remixed CDs.

9

Chadti Jawani-Bela Sulakhe and Harry Anand(Ketchup Mix)

Movie: Caravan Originally sung by: Mohammad Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar.

This song contains extracts from’The Ketchup Song’ by Las Ketchup. You can find this song in the CD’Aur Ek Haseena Thi’. The video is not worth watching, but the song is worth listening to.

8

Kehdoon Tumhein-Kishore Kumar and Vishali(Return of Daddy Mix)

Movie: Deewar Originally sung by: Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhonsle.

Yet another DJ Aqeel mix, and I’m impressed. This song has extracts from the English oldie’I just wanna be close to you’. Preserving Kishore’s voice was a good idea. The video is not worth watching, but the song is worth listening to. This song can be found in many remixed CDs.

7

Mere Naseeb-Pamela Jain and Precha

Movie: Naseeb Originally sung by: Lata Mangeshkar.

The music in this song is contagious and addicting. It’s a mix between hip hop and Indian. The video is worth watching as it is not dirty, and the story is simple. It actually does have something to do with’Naseeb’. This song can be found in the CD’Mere Naseeb.Remix’ and many remixed CDs.

6

Dil Lena Khel-Surjo Bhattacharya

Movie: Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai Originally sung by: R.D. Burman.

This mix with dance beats and the sitar is an excellent dance number. It sounds like a seductive number, but it’s actually passing the message that love is a sham. I haven’t viewed the video therefore I am unable to comment on that. This song can be found in the CD’Mere Naseeb.Remix’ and many remixed CDs.

5

Kaanta Laga-Bela Sulakhe

Movie: Samadhi Originally sung by: Lata Mangeshkar.

This song is sweetly sung and the music is also danceable. The video is not worth watching. I heard this song a long time ago and I still like it, after listening to it numerous times. This song can be found in the CD’DJ Doll Remix’ and various remixed CDs.

4

Sanam Teri Kasam-Pamela Jain

Movie: Sanam Teri Kasam Originally sung by: Kishore Kumar.

This song is easy to hum and easy to sing, as well easy to get stuck in your head! It’s a catchy song and is also danceable. You can find this song in the CD’Mere Naseeb.Remix’ and various remixed CD’s.

3

Saiyyan Dil Mein Aana Re-Suzanne

Movie: Bahar Originally sung by: Shamshad Begum.

This number is a sweet number to sing at weddings, especially if it’s your best friends. The video is good because the girls are pretty and it doesn’t send a message of dirt out. Also it cheers me up when I’m in a bad mood. This song can be found in various remixed CDs.

2

Naiyyon Dil Lagda-Gunjan featuring Javed Basheer

Remixed by: Bally Sagoo Album: Anything but Silent.

I’m not sure if this song was in a movie, if it was please let me know. This song is slow and sweet. It makes me cry at times because it’s so sad. Gunjan sings with such pain, and it’s perfect because the song is painful. I haven’t viewed the video, therefore I am unable to comment on that. You can find this song in Bally Sagoo’s CD’Anything but Silent’ and various remixed CDs.

1

Laila Main Laila-Pamela Jain

Movie: Qurbani Originally sung by: Kanchan and Amit Kumar.

I’ve heard the original and the remixes, and this one is the best. I like both original and this remix. This song is solely based on techno music. I haven’t viewed the video therefore I am unable to comment on that. You can find this song in the CD’Mere Naseeb.Remix’ and various remixed CDs.
