Melody King! King of Romance! Great Cinematic Voice! Full of emotions! There are many adjectives used to describe Kumar Sanu – the singer. I personally like his voice so much that it compelled me to write about some of the best songs sung by Kumar Sanu. As always there are few people who have given him not so favorable adjectives - but let’s always judge a person by his best work.
Mentioning 10 best songs is becoming very difficult as there are thousands of melodious songs by him – so let’s say this is a representative list of the good work done by Kumar Sanu. I have tried to stick to relatively unknown songs rather than very well-known songs from films like Aashiqui, 1942 – A Love Story, Pardes, Baazigar, Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aaye, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin etc. etc. etc.
Initially I was not so much of a Kumar Sanu fan - hearing through medium quality stereo earphones - as the earphones could not reproduce all of the singing and ended up jarring few end notes. However from the day I bought my Sennheiser HD earphones - I just fell in love with Kumar Sanu voice.

This may be one of the best romantic number from Anu Malik – Kumar Sanu combine. The song has all hallmarks of a great romantic number – soft melodious tune – great singing – the song peaks at “Ye zulfon ke badal ghanere”
