Now I Had long before decided that im not gonna write another review till the Goa(Darn! how I hate Goa now) Contest is over. But hey look . What I realise. there is a fortnight before this contest gets over. so had to get the rust on my hands off. Thus writing on my favorite . Music . Had written a review on Maroon 5 but the fool that I am I did not save it and heck the current went! so this is another lame attempt to get this writers block off:)

Every Breath You Take~ Sting and the Police: Aha . when it comes to easy listening this one just has to make my list. Sting’s brilliance is written all over the song. good lyrics too . what more you want! Some say this is a utterly romantic song . for the lovey dovey types. but hey you cant say this is a bad song can you? Great flow. makes for real easy listening! One of The Police’s best songs Every Breath You Take has to make every romantic songs list dude. Beautiful piano and guitar and ofcourse Sting . can you ask for anything more . Think you cant.
Comfortably Numb~ Pink Floyd: Awesome . thats the word that comes to my mind when I listen to this track . one of Floyd’s many brilliant tracks this one is the sheer genius of David Gilmour. Sublime lyrics . superb riffs and the brilliance of David Gilmour makes Comfortably Numb one of the most brilliant tracks of Pink Floyd ever. From their epic album The Wall which had classics such as Brick in the Wall this one is a sure shot favorite for the Easy listeners. One of most famous openers in soft rock history’ Hello . is there anybody in there.’ Comfortably Numb grows on you. like all tracks this one has to be listened over and over again to get on that soothing tinge which only music can give me . at 6.24 minutes this is not a waste of time surely:) Listen to Pink Floyd they are brilliant:) nd even thats an Understatment .
The Man Who Sold The World~ Nirvana: Kurt Cobain(Rest in Peace) . the name says it all. One of the most famous Nirvana tracks The Man Who Sold. is a track which can only get better after every listening! Nirvana had this knack of coming up with classics one after another. This is an original David Bowie track later covered by Nirvana in their New York Unplugged album. forget the covers . Nirvana made the covers more popular than the originals themselves. And this was no exception . Kurt at his very best this is one of those tracks which makes no sense(atleast to me!) but still you just wanna hear it and hear it . maybe its the Nirvana touch .
Dream On~ Aerosmith: Ok! most you are going to kill me for picking such a rock shock kind of song in an easy listening list but hey this is my favorite Aerosmith track and I HAVE to include it! Dream on is all about. well Dreaming(duh!) . One of Aerosmith’s best tracks Dream on is a hybrid of great guitar and the sheer vocal superiority of the great band Aerosmith. The piano and the guitar when the line’Everybody has got their dues in life to pay’ has to go down in the history of Rock as one of the best ever. Aerosmith fans Hail.This one was included in the Aerosmith’s greatest hits ever . Rock fan or not . seriously recommend this for listening . any time any place . just got to get that Aerosmith CD. nd Chillax!
She Will Be Loved~ Maroon 5: Maroon 5 is one band that can be called genre-less. its very difficult to say what genre they belong to . rock, pop, grunge rock . or whatelse. But when it comes to talent it is a one bunch. Their claim to fame was the grammy for their debut album Songs About Jane . She Will Be Loved is as good a track as it can get. Superb . simply superb vocals by the lead. this one good song. Songs about Jane is his medium of expressing his love for Jane . this one has a acoustic version too of which im not too fond of. Superb vocals I have to say this once again but I cant get enough of the lead’s brilliance throughout the album. She will be loved is a highly recco track for the broken hearted too:) Just sit with that chilled can of beer nd relax.
Feel~ Robbie Williams: One of the best tracks of Robbie Williams . this is one real’feel’ good track. superb piano and absolutely Jaw Dropping lyrics .from his multi platinum album Escapology Feel is as good an easy listening track as one can get! Something stupid is another Robbie William song I love. have seen Robbie performing this on stage and I can tell you . he rocks. Lyrics goes’ I Dont Wanna Die. But I Aint Keen On Living Either’ .’Before I fall in love, im preparing to leave her.’ Madness I can tell you. fantastic track . to keep it short and sweet:)
Wonderwall~ Oasis: One talented guy he is . this Oasis . Wonderwall is his best work till date. A beautiful track to end a Valentine Day dinner. Wonderwall has a superb flow to it . from the album Morning to Glory wonderwall is love track that not many artists have been able to excel. A pretty popular tracks for DJ’s over the world I heard a fusion of Wonderwall and Boulevard of Broken Dreams and I found it stunning . one of the best mixes ever it is called The Boulevard of Broken Song .highly recommended
to all Oasis and Green Day fans . thats where I came across Wonderwall and thats where I fell in love with this track . Beautiful track once again . ’after all you’re my wonderwall’
Afterglow~ INXS: I’m not too sure how many people know of this band called INXS . but let me tell you they are brilliant . from the album Switch this is undoubtedly one of their best tracks. another brilliant track that comes to mind when INXS comes in is Never Tear Us Apart. Afterglow is the after math of a Heart break . sheer lyrical brilliance . Afterglow begins with a Dhol like sound .yes you heard it right it is a Dhol like sound . The lead is one of the most talented around . Video is exciting too. it is not a typical easy listening song but yes the flow does make it sound good to hear. and thats one quality I think which makes up for Easy Listening . so buy Switch(kill piracy . no mp3’s!) and sit back and relax .
Colourblind~ Darius: Darius is a solo act from Scotland . like Gareth Gates he too is a Pop Idol product .mostiv’e seen clips of him performing More than words from Extreme and Mockingbird and I can tell you he is Brilliant.Colourblind arguably is his best work till date(though I think Live Twice is better!) . its a very easy going song .good music and vocals by Darius himself. its the kind of a song you’ll want to sing to propose someone:) the song goes’ Feeling blue when the jealousy swells and I wonder away in dreams .feeling fine sublime when the smile of yours creeps into my mind’ . one romantic song this is:)
Rubaroo~ Rang De Basanti: Yes sir you can rub your eyes. i’ve included a hindi song here. feel that easy listening is not limited to any language . its just the song and its soul. from the most gifted music director on earth. A.R. Rehman this is one of my favorite hindi tracks . its got such a feel good factor to it that I can listen to this one on and on . a very popular track indeed this is a must for me in my easy times. beautiful guitar, music and rehman . cant ask for anything more can you? * jo gumshuda sa khwaab tha, who mil gaya . who khil gaya:) . nothing but the genius of Rehman.
