Commercials.they are meant to sell the product. but watching some of them on television. I feel like shooting the brains behind these 10 second tortures! most of the advertisements on television these days are awful! I am going to try cutting the list to 10 worst ads.
~Vicco Turmeric WSO Cream
There is this guy trying to sell the cream. and 3 girls go to him and move their heads and shout’beauty cream beauty cream’ and the salesman sings’badhiya hai quality daam hai kum, vicco turmeric wso cream.’ and then the three girls start dreaming about the results of using this cream. one is given a bunch of roses in front of the whole college, other is dating someone. and the third one is a film actress or something like that! I specially hate that lady who moves around with a purse in her hand and eyeing everyone suspiciously!
~Vicco Vajradanti
This ad shows a couple who are at some hill station and are eating apples. just to prove they have strong teeth!’vajradanti vajradanti vicco vajradanti, vicco powder vicco paste. ayurvedic jadibutiyon se bana sampurn swadeshi, vicco powder vicco paste’.
~Fair and Lovely
When a marriage of a girl, who is not fair, is fixed. people comment. lucky girl. then her friend suggests her some fairness cream and assures her that by engagement everything will change. but even on engagement people comment’lukkkky girrrl’. so the girl gets angry at her friend coz she lied. so she is suggested’Fair and Lovely Saavli’. for girls who have darker than normal complexion(?) and by wedding time. the comments change to’lukkkkkkkkkky BBBBOOOOYYY’ YAH RITE. can’t stand any of these F&L advertisements.
~Itch Guard
A man returns from office and rushes to his room. and removes his pants and scratches. and shows a cheap expression of relief on his face. disgusting.’.pasine se ho jaati hai khujli. itch guard lagayie. ab no khujli baar baar’. it is so disgusting!
~Reliance India Mobile
’Papa Kahan hai aap?’. the female just got married and on her way to her’sasural’. just few seconds after she left.calls her dad. I pity the poor guy who married her! reliance people are carrying the emotional angle a bit too far. I even dislike the’sehwag ki maa’ ad.
~Harpic
Aman Verma. going to people’s house. and challenging them to make their toilets look as good as new. with no stains!(YUCK!)’harpic istamal kijiye aur banayie aapke toilet ko naye jaisa rozana’. yah rite. next time try the public toilets.
~Dabur Laal Dantmanjan / Toothpaste
The former had suneil shetty talking about strong teeth to a young boy. then some months later they had a camp. and the guy was asking.’aap mein se kiske daat strong hai?’(or something equally absurd) and a young boy says mine. coz now’dabur laal dantmanjan paste mein aaya’. lol.

MDH people also started with some amazing dantmanjan. that that old guy who appears in all mdh ads comes in this one and says from past 80 something years I have strong teeth coz of mdh dantmanjan.
~Friendly Wash
A child comes and complains to his mom about itchy clothes. and the school principal comes out of thin air and explains that it is happening coz of the detergent you use.’lab mein aayiye batata hoon’. and he suggests that she should use friendly wash. and then. when she starts using it. the kid goes insane coz now his best friend happens to be a detergent powder!’YESSS mera best friend, friendly wassshhhh’
~Daawat Basmati Rice(I am not too sure of the brand.)
There is this dinner party. and one female loved rice. and she needed second helping but rice in the plate got over. so she climbs the table and makes her way to the man who has a grain of rice on his cheeks. and she eats the grain of rice. after sometime the steward comes with a grain of rice stuck on his cheeks and offers.’rice ma’m’. how disgusting!
There are so many commercials I would like to list. for example the dandi namak ad.’tripple refined iodized dandi namak.aapke bachche ki buddhi ke vikas ke like’. or those sanitary napkin ads. and those cold drink ads. and those itch guard ads. and krack creams. eraser.aisi ronak laaye chand bhi bedaag nazar aaye.
