Paes versus mahesh

The constant spat between Mahesh & Leander has turned so ridiculous , they seem to quarrel like two kindergarten kids.Take a hike, guys, enough is enough. After all India has survived without a medal in Olympics for decades & another one would made no difference.

Both are on the crutches , on the verge of retirement & trying to make best of anything, coming their way at the last moment. They are well past their prime to win any major & there is no point in hanging on there , just dividing the camp.

I always admired Leander for his passion& never-die-attitude, but it is high time he bows out gracefully, & the same applies to Mahesh. In the clash of egos, they are just destroying whatever little is left of Indian tennis .

Leander is always known to be an emotional person & being emotional is not a strong point for being a manager. Mahesh who has always tried to get out of the shadows of Paes all through his career , is like a wounded tiger (ok, its an insult to tiger, lets call him a domesticated cat) & is at his manipulative best to divide the camp in his favour. Caught inbetween are the rookies, who are getting trained to become politicians than tennis players.

Was just watching the interview of Mahesh on some news channel , I think it was NDTV, his body language was so hideous , he was never talking eye-to-eye with the interviewer & his allegations were so downright silly, wonder if there is any point in he teaming up with Paes. Unfortunately each has no choice , & is a case of couple out in the divorce court fighting for their share of the pie. With the pathetic state of tennis in our country , it is a classic case of :

"In the kingdom of the blind, one eyed man is the king" ("Andhon main kana raja")."
