Knowing people is good but knowgin people who know people who have premier passes is better. Recently I saw Terminator 3 or simple T3...well for a third time sequel which is pitting a fifty summin old guy in its action lead may sound like a desperate and vain career saving, bank balance friendly move...the sad part is that as long as I -and others who respect nosensical violence and inane action- are watching movies such antics will probably work!
The movie is all out action from the start with isolated intermittent islands of emotional ponderings...when the movie started a person in the narrative was speaking all funny...like in matrix 2...all confusing with obtuse remarks... with his leathery garb, arnie remains as animate and human as a laptop carrycase...and the least they could have done before sending him back into the past for a mission is to have tweaked his english language circuits and make him more comprehendable...communication breakdown has been at the heart of many failures but lets leave that for some other example time...however the good part is he can still captivate audience like an infectious disease and I mean that as a complement... the new add- kristina lokken as the female terminator....ho hum...well in the end when she is dying or being held back from completing her mission she displays such anger that all I could remember was hell hath no fury like a woman scorned! guess even her advanced TX design couldnt get rid of such flaws so we guys have no busines complaining about womens moods today! claire daines, the cute face from romeo and juliette is seen here in a pretty sidelined role...she is supposed to be a part of the resistance along with some others, one of whom was tossing burgers at a fast food joint...guess if I was taking orders at a drive-in, I too would sooner quit my job and join ANY resistance rather than continue...McDonald employees take note... the end was rather philosophical...the action was subtly backgrounded against the cold truth that human beings are the ultimate cockroach...no matter what, they survive! annnnnyways dont disregard my intelligence levels just because I liked this film...i got free passes and honestly it wasnt all that bad...whats ur excuse!?!
