I saw Terminator Two - Judgement day on channel four a few nights ago and decided to review it. I have not seen the first one even though I intend to but anyway I will see number three but right now lets focus on number two.
The starting got me right into it when Arnold the terminator appears and his mission is the first thing he sees. Then when he walks into the bar with that look on his face even though he is naked. Then he walks up and round the bar looking for the right set of clothes. When he finds the right guy MATCH appears on the screen. This is what got me straight into it, in the first ten minutes. This scene is where he asks for the clothes everyone laughs. So he picks the guy up and throws him to the other side of the bar yeah! Then he twists some peoples arms. I think this scene is cool it shows you the terminators destructive nature and how he means business. When he has done defending himself he gets the other guys clothes. Black suit boots and he steals the bike. Right now to his mission to protect John connor but wait a disturbance. A guy comes up and says he wont let the guy take another guys motorbike like that. The man loads a shotgun and points it at the terminator. He has that cool look on his face. He steps up to the man grabs the shotgun and points it at the man. He does not kill the other man, he just gets the shotgun and steals the mans shades. The final touch is done now to go rescue John Connor!
This is what pulls you into the film it gets you watching. Well it got me watching anyway I was desperate already to see how the terminator would do to do his mission.
But of course every action film needs a bad guy and what better then another terminator! Yes soon after the second terminator appears, but instead of stealing clothes he steals bodies! Yes he steals the body of the cop he has one mission destroy John connor unlike arnie who is trying to protect him. How will the two terminators full fill there mission? Especially when the bad guy is more advanced?
Now we see John Conner the boy who in the future is to start a rebellion against the machines. He is tough you see that from the start he does not listen to his foster mom and he has his won motorbike. He explains to his mate that his real mom is in a mental prison for knowing about the terminators but of course everyone thought she was crazy. They go to the mall and thats where the evil terminator finds them. How will they escape? Huh you will have to watch it.
The best scene
This is hard because the film is full of cool scenes. But I have picked one. Who can forget the bit where the bad guy walks out of the lorry made of complete stone and every step he takes is breaking him up? He loses his legs and he cant walk but then arnold turns to the bad guy and goes Hasta la vista baby! And then pulls the trigger and destroys the evil one. But he is not destroyed just yet...
I recommend this film to anyone apart from the people who are only into love films. Even if you are only into good acting watch this.
