Yesterday was the scariest day of my life. I’d seen this movie in the movie store many times...and usually I went with my friends. I always asked them what the movie is like...and they always told me it was okay. I heard from everyone that it was an okay movie. Then finally, someone in my school told me it was so good. I confronted my friends asking them why they lied to me. They didn’t really say anything, but now I know why they were.
I picked up the cover. My friend asked me if I liked gorry movies. I was like ’’If I can watch ’The Passion of the Christ’ and live, I can watch this. Little did I know how wrong I was.
The movie starts with actual footage from the crime scene, as this story is true. It happend in August 1973. Then the story begins.
It starts with 5 people, 3 guys and 2 girls. They’re drivin down the highway, when they accidentally almost hit a girl walking on the side of the highway. They stop and the girls notice this girl seems troubled. So they help her. They invite her into their van. She seems terrified, and all of a sudden she takes out a gun, sticks it in her mouth and shoots herself. This is where the trouble begins.
I’m not gonna tell you anymore. All I’m gonna tell you is when you hear the chainsaw, it freaks the crap outta you. The scariest part is the end. Make sure you watch this with people. I watched it in broad daylight and I almost pissed my pants.
