Thaat Baat is one of the first restaurants I went to after
we came to Nagpur.
It is situated on a busy road and does not look anything grand at all from the
facade. Once inside, however, you are immediately transported to a brightly lit
and decked up eatery.
It’s a riot of colours. The warmth and friendliness of the
place is the first thing that strikes you. The waiters are neatly dressed in
traditional attire with colorful turbans et al. They start bringing in the food
with a flourish – and you are overwhelmed with their smiling personas. There is
an amazing array of dishes, rich finger-licking, ghee laden time-honored,
authentic Rajasthani cuisine. You forget everything and just hog, relishing the
delicate aromas and exquisite tastes. I was extremely hungry that day and I
cannot forget all that good food in a hurry.
If you are in Nagpur
and like vegetarian food then you must visit this restaurant famous for its
Thaalis.
