A real silky flight.

I had a oppurtunuty to travel by Thai from chennai to Guanghzhou, china in the month of april & return journey in the ending of may 2008. It was a business tour to canton fair along with my friend who was also from chennai.

at time of booking ticket i insisted for Thai as my friend was a frequent flyer to china by malysian air and he had a privilage  card with him.

We selected thai because our stop over at bangkong was mostly at early in the morning and reaching the destination point was very early which saved us our half day after reaching china.

Now at the time of booking ticket we had asked for STRICT Veg food on all our 4 flights onward & return journeys. And the same was served to us with out any confusion or any sort of problem. At time of check in & collecting our boarding pass we were assured by the lady at the counter abt our choice of food was enterd in their  data base. Food was not a hassle on this flight. We were served very best drinks flight by the cabin crew, & quantity was not a problem. On our return journey we were informed that Thai airways follows a principle of DRY flying on particular day of a year when liquor is not served on all of their flights. There were no tempers seen with all the fellow passengers on the flight, but all appriciated their concern also.

Secondly as I am writting my reveiw my nostril sizzles with the best aromatic perfume of the airconditioner in the plane still in my memory. It was a good natural perfume obtained from the wild orchid flower from the jungles of Thailand.

All the cacin crew in my 4 flights were very friendly & co-opreative, My excess bagage was also allowed with out charging any additional charges. For your kind information  I was travelling with additional 26 kgs of baggage, which the lady at checking accepted with a broad smile.

Today my friend tough travels with outme has become a admirer of thai, If he has to go to Gulf he preffers Thai, we both now have a Privilage card on Thai.
