Psychological Thriller TV Series to watch

Psychological Thriller Series based on 19th Century, adapted from Caleb Carr’s novel.

Series revolved around a mentally ill(who were thought to be alienated from their own nature and

experts who studied them called ALIENIST) Killer,

who mutilates boys whor*, who works in men brothel(dressed up as women) for pleasuring men from rich families.

Main Characters:

Mr. Roosevelt(Police commissioner of the area),

Captain Connor,

John Beecham( Killer)

Dr. Laszlo Kreisler(Criminal Psychologist)

John Moore(Newspaper Cartoonist)

Isaacson brother(Specialist in Forensic Science)

Miss Howard(first woman ever employed by the Police department) Plot:

Series starts with a body of 13-year old boy found disemboweled on a Bridge, his eyes gouged out

and his genitali* mutilated. Dr. Kreisler is tasked by police commissioner Teddy Roosevelt with investigating the brutal murder.

Dr. Kreisler teamed with his friend John Moore( newspaper Cartoonist), two Isaacson brother and Miss Howard to solve the case.

He’ll soon find out that the boy, who’d been a prost at a brothel housing young men dressed up as women,

is one of several victims, and the ruthless killer is on the loose.

Society’s’ view of Dr. Kreisler:

To society’s upper crust, his methods are strange,

and the more he displays a persistent investigative resolve

the more beguiled by the case(s) he becomes.

Some Remarkable Dialogues:

I recall from the trailer that he introduce himself to someone as

"Hi. I am Dr. Kreisler".

When Dr. Kreisler has feeling for Mary(lady who works in house of Dr. Kreisler), on her death:

Dr. Kreisler to Miss Howard:

"I’ve made my life’s work the study of the human mind. And now my own mind deceives me.

I have cause to hate God for what he did to her,

and yet I find myself believing in him, humbled by his awful mystery.

And many more.

I highly recommend to watch this series.

Guys who are curious about human mind and behavior this is must watch.
