Mar. Plaza is definitely one amongst my favorites to have lunch / drinks (at Geoffrey’s). My preference is to go in for the soup with the salads. the variety is decent and filling, do not expect too much of special stuff though.
I have had the buffet as well -- it is pretty heavy and better. But I usually avoid heavy lunch and this is all across -- nothing wrong with MP. The menu is the usual mix of Indian and Conti.
The best of course is the desserts at MP -- I am not sure if it is more in the mind than real but I have always enjoyed it the most. try out the fruit salads with icecr.
Pricewise, MP is OK -- it is worth having a view of Marine Drive and enjoying food -- try sitting on the corner seats towards CCI -- gives a better view of the Drive.
