The first time I heard Kitaro (a Japanese music composer) was in my personality development classes for increasing the concentration. composition was very soothing and mind-blowing. I felt like I am soaring across the skies to haven. It was an extremely peaceful feeling to hear flutes, drums, bass, the piano and several other instruments in between.
Kitaros compositions rose to a crescendo and then slowed down, thus making us feel completely at ease. His compositions were indeed music to my ears! My coach also explained to me the beautiful inside meanings of the composition, thus revealing to us a completely new world. Each composition has a story behind it and a meaning that we would have possibly never known till someone explained it to them.
It is certainly worth hearing, especially when one comes home at the end of a hard days work from office. The moment I heard it, I simply fell in love with it and felt like hearing it over and over again. The Best of Kitaro is indeed the best music I have ever heard.
It speaks about a hopeful and a positive tomorrow, a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, the beauty of life and the meaning of life. It speaks of a good life ahead at the end of the storm - such is the beauty of Kitaros compositions.
The other album, which is similar to this is "Yanni: A Tribute to the Taj." It is equally soothing and relaxing music. I was extremely happy to listen to these compositions, though we get them only online for download these days. The stores in India, however, do not stock Kitaro yet. It has still to make waves in our country.
Kitaro is a timeless, soothing classic, which can be heard anywhere and at anytime and by absolutely any one..
