Series revolves around two physicists Sheldon Cooper(Jim Parsons) and Leonard Hofstadter(Johnny Galecki) who are best friends and also roommates working at a University. Leonard and Sheldon are friends with Harvard Wolowitz(Simon Helberg) and Rajesh Koothrappali(Kunal Nayyar) all living in Pasadena, California. Life takes a different turn for them when Penny(Kaley Cuoco) who is a waitress and an aspiring actress moves in next door, which totally baffles them.
