all the spy like movies that we have seen shows the extravagant lifestyle , the amazing gadgets , the cars , the women etc..basically showing us that the life of a spy is like a piece of cake.all he does is go in blow up something and come out driving an expensive flashy sports car in every scene of the movie.well this movie shows you what being a spy is actually like.
of course its taken from the book written by Robert Ludlum but compared to all the other secret agent type movies this one is completely different and makes us stay glued to the screen to check out whats happening.by the usual spy movies I basically mean the bond movies since they are the most popular ones to hit the big screens.but the Bourne Identity is one movie worth watching.

THE MOVIE-
the movie starts out with Jason Bourne being fished out of the ocean on to a fishing boat.his body is all riddled with bullets but he is still alive.Jason Bourneis a million dollar investment for the CIA.after being nursed by the crew members Jason Bourne returns to mainland.but there is just one problem.he has no clue to his identity.while onboard the boat and unconcious one of the fisherman while removing bullets removes a small capsule that has been implanted in Jason’s back.this gives the address and account number of a certain bank in that area.
coming back to where we were, Jason Bourne makes his way into a town close by.later finding out that the bank is in that location he makes his way to the bank.using that information he is lead to a locker which contains a gun, various passports for different countries and loads of money.but it still doesnt strike to who he is and what he does.at the same moment the head of the CIA is after Jason Bourne and wants to kill him.WHY? that is because Jason was supposed to carry out an assasination which later fails.to stop the shame from spreading into the CIA department and the commanding officer they decided to kill him.later on Jason comes in touch with a woman Mariewho agrees to take him to a certain destination for a certain amount of money once he realises that there are people after him.
inspite of the loss of memory on his identity Jason still retains the training the CIA had give him and uses to survive and being one of the best agents they had he shows that he cannot be taken down even with a tough fight.the lady who agreed to give him a ride to his destination gets stuck in the middle of the entire situation as she is spotted with him.the story about how he lost his memory slowly unfolds very well throughout the movie.the story was very well thought off by the writer but felt even better once put on screen.the story being very intruiging will have you have you hushing even your loved one while you watch.
the best part about this movie is that it shows how agents like Jason Bourne survive in their surroundings by using what ever comes to the head and hands.other than the typical bond movies where Mr Bond goes in and comes in style and unscratched.here they show Jason Bourne locked in mortal combat with the various agents sent after him and every thing is not done with a ton of extravagance.the plots, conspiracies all unfold very well and keep you waiting till the end until you have found out to why Jason Bourne is being hunted down like this.
ACTION-
this is why this movie is a must see movie.we all expect these spy movies to have really good and exciting action.this movie has it all.Matt Damon was trained for quite sometime to perform all those stylish martial arts moves.the action is probably better than jackie chan martial arts.the part where Jason Bourne takes out 3 guards in one spot in an American Embassy has been the main attraction in this movie.
the stunts were choreographed very well to then extent where it didnt look to fancy which would give it that ’’YEAH RIGHT LIKE THATS POSSIBLE’’ feel nor are we deprived of action scenes that we want to see.
OVERALL-
this movies is definitely a must see movie.if I had to choose between the bond movies which have the cars, gadgets and women and the Bourne Identity it would obviously be the latter.the bond movies might have all tha fancy gadgets and stuff but the bourne identity shows you how the spy can use the most harmless thing as a deadly weapon.this is what I expect out of spy movies.in this movies they show how the spy uses all his training that has been acquired by the CIA and uses it against them and outwits them in the end.’’WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND’’.
the conspiracies, action, story and the characters themselves will keep you glued to your seat till the end of the movie.the suspense is also really good and will make you swallow while you watch the movie.
