Overpriced Star Hotel

I stayed in this Hotel back in 2004 for one night. I paid 286.00 US Dollars for one night and the place turned out to be pretty average if u compare it to other places in Delhi considering Delhi is not that far from Gurgaon. I wanted a place for one night and didn’t knew much about Gurgaon so I asked my cousin who advised me that it was supposedly the best hotel at the time. The room was pretty average and small despite being offered a free upgrade at the reception. I asked to buy a swimwear as I forgot mine back home and I was advised that they didn’t sell any......???

Of course one shouldn’t expect them to sell everything but for a hotel which claims to be a five star ... Yes you should. Pool closed at 2200hrs which was a joke. There were no lush lawns or anything like that. Food was the only thing which I enjoyed the most. Presentation of the food and the ambience was pretty good. Music in the night club was not clear either and the volume was more than the acoustics could handle. I would rather stay in a different place or may be in one of the hotels in New Delhi next time I visit India.
