If anyone out there has ever fallen foul to hackers and had the misfortune of having a Trojan (described later in opinion) left on their system, then they will know the damage that can be done by these nasty little things.
Well anyway, I use a nifty little program called “The Cleaner”, what this program basically does is as the title suggest, it cleans any Trojans that some unscrupulous hacker may have left on your system.
What is a Trojan? Some of you may ask, well basically it is a file that is left on your computer by hackers that gives them control of your computer and can actually act as a server between yours and their computers whenever you are online, and unless you are using a firewall like Zone Alarm they can do virtually anything they wish, without you even noticing, they can rob passwords, bank details, personal info, etc or they can actually format or destroy you hard-drives, as well as download undesirable things onto your computer like porn pictures, viruses, etc.
That’s where “The Cleaner” comes in, alls you do is run this program whenever you have been using the internet, and it will scan through your hard drives, to see if any of the Trojans in its database can be found, if it finds them, it will alert you and delete them appropriately.
The Cleaner has a decent size database of Trojans, and can be updated very quickly, whenever you are surfing the internet, this is very important, as there are new Trojans being created daily, so please make sure you update very regularly. Although I must add, The Cleaner as well as any similar program will no doubt have Trojans that it will not find, but it is about the best out there.
Also included with “The Cleaner” is another useful program called “TCActive”, as long as you have this running, whilst using the Internet, it will stop any Trojans, being downloaded on to your system.
You can find “The Cleaner” at “https://moosoft.com” and it is a shareware program, so you can use it freely until your 30-day trial period runs out, then you have to register for the lifetime use of it, it will probably set you back about £20, but what’s £20 when you can be assured that no nasty Trojan is running on your system causing havoc?
I would strongly advise anyone to download this program, even if its just for the trial period, as you never know what is on your system, as Trojans are virtually untraceable, even with virus killers like Norton’s anti-virus, etc, and they can be very dangerous and destructive.
