First of all, I would say that the writers and director have done a wonderful job in setting the plot and the way it was directed.
It kept the suspense and thrill till the end. It ticks all the boxes from story to the acting by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga who played the main lead roles to assist the Hodgson family saving them from the devil. The movie kept me on my toes and my other half got really scared at a few scenes. Altogether, I would recommend all my friends and family to go and watch it.
