I love the movie very much. As a big fan of the Horror genre, I take every movie very seriously. The Conjuring Universe has the biggest fanbase in the world. Expectations are always high when it comes to this universe. This Universe consists of Annabelle Series, The Conjuring Series, The Nun Series, and The Curse of La Llorona. Out of which, The Conjuring: Last Rites is the final chapter of this Series as they discussed the last case of Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Story:-
The timeline in which they switch the stories is two: 1964 and 1986. In 1964, when Lorraine was pregnant with Judy, the couple went on a demon-hunting expedition. The demon played a trick on Judy when she was in Lorraines Belly. She started immediate Labor pain and they rushed to the hospital for early delivery. Then, too, while delivering, Demon traced his mark on Judy at that time. Hence, she was born with no activity. Everyone thinks she died, but in a minute during the prayers of Lorraine, she gets her breathing back.
Later, in 1986, the Smurl Family faced issues with their paranormal experiences. Warrens arrived there. It is all because of Judy; she started seeing spirits and experiencing them, just as her mother, Lorraine. There are many things that are not mentioned in the movie, but when I’m researching their case, I got to know that out of 8 people, the eldest daughter and the mother have also experienced sexual abuse. There are three ghosts in their house. A couple and their mother, husband found out that his wife was cheating, hence, he got mad and killed his wife and his mother with a hand axe.
This case was their last because they faced numerous health issues throughout their entire career. After the case of The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, which was set in 1981, Ed faced a minor heart attack. So, they retired from this work.
Cinematography/Plot:-
Jump scares are a lot in the movie, plus the Annabelle scene has made my heart stop for a minute. From childhood, Judy has had a fear of Annabelle; hence, she has experienced a horrific scene where Annabelle suddenly stood up by herself, scaled up in size, and started chasing Judy. I have experienced this movie in Mx4D, and the experience with the storyline of this movie was a very good experience, and I am not going to forget this in my entire lifetime. The music effects and small scary scenes have made a spot in my heart as well.
The entire journey of Ed and Lorraine Warren has been recreated and shown in a well-known way. James Wan has enjoyed watching movies, while shooting the movie, and after in the audience. He has created many horror genre movies.
Conclusion:-
In the end, everyone was re-united and hence the entire case was solved, and the cast of The Conjuring, The Conjuring 2, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It has invited and seen at Judys wedding. Along with that, James Wan, the producer and director of some of the Conjuring Universe movies, has also added to the last scene.
