The Constant Gardener is actually the protagonist played out by Ralph Fiennes. (whose talent as an actor is so underrated) He is a fine actor and his portrayal of the Embassy official torn between duty and personal life is amazing!!
The story adapted from John Le carres book is shown very aptly through flashbacks and the cinematography is excellent of Africa and the way things happen in Africa. For those of us who have never seen Africa, the huge continent as it is and the problems that are existing there on a daily basis are a true eye-opener.
The medical facilities and how pharmaceutical companies take advantage of ignorance and apathy in that country, for that matter anywhere in this world.... the rich get richer and the poor get poorer!
The film has brought out the whole case of global threat under the guise of HELP for the NEEDY.... a cause to be scrutinized.
The supporting cast and crew have done an excellent job in showing the world the downside of certain CAUSES and the story telling in the film is super.
And so I would definitely recommend this movie for those who love to see a good story told in a film format with an underlying moral.
