Suspense, thrill, intrigue and adventure……Well, to me, The Da Vinci Code is many notches above all this. Infact, never in my life have I ever come across a novel that so deftly quenches my thirst to know the mystery behind history and its role, in shaping the future!
Through this book, I learnt the mind-boggling aspect of ‘PHI’ and a fascinating truth, that all living-beings possess dimensional properties adhering to a constant divine proportion! For all those who keep wondering about the secret behind ‘Mona Lisa’s’ strange smile or what exactly is hidden behind ‘The Last Supper’, this book is a must-read! Not only will this book help you solve the riddle behind these paintings but in the process, you’ll also learn a great deal about some other amazing truths. Now, for instance, I feel confident to explain what a ‘Fibonacci’ series is and if you ask me to give out the names of some famous works of Da vinci, be prepared to catch, atleast five of them, in a jiffy!
On a serious note, yes, this book has taught me something as well....Not to believe or accept anything blindly, infact, one of the greatest inspirations that I’ve got from this book is to look everything, yes, everything from a dual perspective. What you see might not be true. You’ve got to go much deeper to understand the reality!
Lastly, don’t avoid this book believing that it provokes blasphemy or reveals something too shocking to absorb. Instead, read it to know the origin of Olympics, how its logo came into being, why is there a pentagram on American flag of war, what is pagan religion and so on… and most importantly, to get yourself treated to a delightful exhibition of beautiful paintings in the mystique journey through the ‘Louvre’, that Dan Brown pens down so skillfully, thereby, inspiring millions to go on a trip down to Paris and have a look at one of the most splendid museums of the world!
So, while I make arrangements to flee off to Paris, you guys go and read this pulse-quickening book and get enlightened!
