Best of Dan Brown!

The Da Vinci Code is the second installment in the mystery/thriller Robert Langdon series but it is not like any typical book series. The plot is not continued just the character is same and a brilliant character, too.

Robert Langdon is a symbologist, that is, an expert in assessing symbols. So, what happens when he is escorted from his hotel room in the middle of the night yo help investigate the death of the curator of the Louvre Museum? What he finds out at the crime scene shocks him to the core. Now, once again he’ll have to embark on an adventure to solve the mysterious death of the curator.

This book is totally filled with mystery, being true to its genre. This is the kind of book that keeps its reader on their toes, CONSTANTLY. Everyone is the suspect, everyone is the villain! It keeps you constantly guessing about the killer and when the suspense is revealed, its just the ultimate one!

The characters are artistically build giving the common folk a chance to get an insight of things they wouldn’t even imagine is happening. Character development has also been done well for few characters.

The setting and the backdrop has been written with such excruciating detail, the amount of research done by the author just blows away my mind.

The plot is fantastic but I would say that you have to keep a bit of patience while reading. It keeps you hooked but at the same time it jumps from character to character a lot leaving in a lot of gaps which might annoy you. Its all worth it though!

I would say that this book could easily be considered as Dan Brown’s greatest work.

Go ahead and read, I’m sure this book won’t disappoint you.

Have a nice day!
