Kobenhavn, 1926. Nordic artist, Gerda Geophysicist, painted her own spouse, Einar Geophysicist(Eddie Redmayne), as a noblewoman in her picture. When the painting gained popularity, Einar started to commute his pretence into a someone appearance and named himself Lili River.
With his movement passionateness and Gerda’s reinforcement, Einar - or River - attempted one of the eldest male-to-female sex reassignment surgery, a conclusion that rotated into a monumental change for their marriage, that Gerda realized her own save is no somebody a man or the individual she ringed before.
