When I heard few months back that Milan Luthria was directing a movie name “Dirty Picture” I dint realise movie will get so much attentions. But once movie promos were out I was surprised and so were many fellow movie lovers.
Vidya in such role? Why would she agree for such movie, dresses, dances and looks ….Why Milan Luthria wants to attempt something so risky? Why not play safe? After watching this movie, I realized it is a creative person’s instinct and passion, why would some body other wise come up with THE DIRTY PICTURE.
Movie is simple and useless story; I loved the dialogues; after a very long time got to hear hard hitting, raunchy yet entertaining words from lead stars. Emran Hashmi as story teller has done justice to the role, full marks to him, another movie which proves that he can act.
Whay Naseerji for this role? I am sorry I failed to understand, he was looking very old as compared to Vidya. Tushar and Vidya’s mom has equal role (length as well as importance wise). Now I come to Ms. Balan, “hatts off , great acting, tusi great ho and U were running the show”. She has done full justice to the role and I can’t think of any other lady in bollywood who would have done justice to this role. If she does not get couple of awards for this, than we don’t need any proof to believe “Awards are fixed”.
Music is average and movie is slow, especially second half is very boring. End was very predictable. While watching this movie I felt as if I was watching some B –C Grade movie, not sure whether director really wanted audiences to go through this experience or he was expecting a better response ( respectful feedback). Some where class of Vidya’s acting got lost due to bad script.
I didn’t enjoy this movie.
