An excellent get away from urban life

I visited Dune in January 2008 to celebrate my wife’s birthday and I am happy that I went to Dune as it was an unforgettable experience and I am really happy that I made the right choice.

When we reached we were greeted by the staff very cordially. The property is spread across a huge area full of raw nature. The cottages are spread across the place with their own private areas. We stayed in Garden Room which was on the expensive side as it was an A/C room, but the room decor and the facilities were excellent. But if you like to experience the real rustic life then you should chose one of the other cottages.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

The place is located very near to a very clean and well maintained beach. Even though technically it’s not a private beach, but still it’s very clean(but the slope is too much and it may be dangerous to go deep inside water). The swimming pool was well maintained.

The property has some very friendly dogs that can be a very good source of entertainment. Especially for kids. The idea to provide bicycles to go around inside the property, and facility to rent bikes to go to the town is very unique.

The food was good. But was very expensive. And that’s one of the major demerits of the place.

I thought the place lacked some other recreation facilities like Table Tennis, Pool table etc which is essential as during evenings it becomes slightly boring. I am not sure if they have it by this time.

But if you want to go to a place where you want to be inside nature with all the modern facilities and a great hospitality then I would recommend this place to anyone.

Its an ideal place for honeymooners, big families and kids all alike.
