Every once in a while you get a movie which, when you look at the first images, you know it’s a product placement. Emoji movie is exactly that. Just a way to make us care about the emojis. This movie has no story and the jokes just fall flat. The characters have no depth. Even the children sitting behind me were asking their parents when the movie would end.
