I always wanted to watch a underwater bollywood movie. After watching this movie my wait is over and for me it is a pleasing experience.Ghazi is a serious war based movie between India-Pakistan. This is a underwater war drama which is my first kind of experience. In 1971, Pakistan sent his best submarine to help his soldiers who were fighting in Bangladesh. To reach Bangladesh Ghazi had to go through Indian water and also destroy INS Vikrant. India came to know this plan of Pakistan and in order to dent this Pakistani move, Indian Navy brings S-21 submarine. The role of commando of this submarine has been played by KK Menon, Navy has introduced Rana Dugubati on the submarine to carry out their order. I think KK and Rana gave their career best performance in this movie. Rana had lost some weight to look fit for the role. Actors like Om Puri, Sataydev, Naseer have also played there part very well. Tapsi Panu has a limited role and didn’t have anything major to offer. The underwater scenes are thrilling and appear very real to me. For the technology used in this move reminds me of some Hollywood movies. Visual effects are stunning. Unlike other war drama this movie is not much lengthy; the running time of this movie is only 2 hours. I didn’t feel getting bore not for a single minute while watching the movie. This movie is not for those who like Latka- Jhtka and songs. Background music really mingles with the scenes.
Overall, if you are fan of war drama and like to watch some brilliant acting then go for the movie this weekend.
