The interiors are very traditional and the whole environment is just so calming that its almost like going to a spa. The service is exemplary.
The act of serving is an act to be enjoyed from the long spouted tea kettles to the gracefulness of the hostesses everything sets the mood for a special evening.
The food is quite good, nothing that you wont find anywhere else but thats not the point. The idea is to eat good food in an exemplary setting.
And we were not disappointed. The prices are also pretty reasonable for the calibre of restaurant. In fact being from Bombay I found they were at par with most standalone Chinese restaurants in Bombay, like Royal China etc.
So you can expect to spend about Rs. 2000 per head, with a bottle of Indian wine.
I think thats spectacular value for such a special experience.
