I have been reading the Hindu for the past twenty-five years and frankly, there is no comparison with any other national newspaper.
The coverage of national and international news is superb and it has very prestigious contributors. The photographs are of magazine-like quality and its supplements are very informative. The Hindu has been bringing out’Folio’ - a compendium of articles on all aspects of a particular topic. These are collectors’ items. The Hindu never sensationalises and it has never had to retract a story - as all of them are well-researched. I salute you, Hindu, for maintaining your standard and not going in for cheap gimmicks to boost circulation.
