I want to bring this to the notice of all readers that i am a regular reader of "Hindustan Times" since more than a decade. In November 2012, i paid rs. 699/- as the annual subscription fee ( cheque no. 900294, cleared on 24/11/12), of SBI, Vaishali branch. The cheque was cleared and as a process i should have received a coupon which further goes to the newspaper hawker. After that the hawker receives his payment. Unfortunately, its been 8 long months that i have not received the coupon from Hindustan Times even after paying the full annual fee. As a result, the newspaper hawker is not providing the daily newspaper.
This is leading to frustration and leaves a terrible name of the brand. This certainly is not expected from a brand like Hindustan Times. I want to spread the word around to ensure this problem is sorted out. This certainly is leading to negative publicity of the brand.
As a regular reader of the newspaper since more than a decade, I hope this gets sorted out. How soon..Im not sure. Also, if this comes across the social media team of ht, i request please act into this query.
