Emotionally captivating

This real life story of a cryptoanalyst  named Alan Turing during World War II is emotional and touches your heart through some spectacular performances by its lead actors and stylish cinematography. When everyone is sceptical about the machine being developed by the protagonist to decode secret messages of Nazi communication during the war, he backs himself and his work to get it done.

After you finish watching the movie the question that would linger in your mind is that the world wars weren’t just about the physical confrontation on the battlefield but also the brilliant work done behind the scenes by people like Alan Turing that resulted in Nazi’s defeat.

Even though the movie is war based it showcases the emotional side of humans who were involved indirectly in the war, like Alan’s gay relationship, his post marriage life and his struggle with colleagues for work recognition. Anyone who loves emotional movies would be able to connect to the movie and its characters easily and you wouldn’t surely regret watching this.
