Shiva’s Trilogy:-
One of the best novel series I have rad so far.
It is based on the concept of portraying the almighty god Shiva in a human body. i.e. to present it to outer world as a character they can relate to.
There are three books which constitutes the series as follows:
The Immortals of Meluha
The Secret of the Nagas
The Oath of the Vayuputras
The best part of this series is that you can easily relate to it because it makes use of familiar and world known concepts about lord Shiva and then present them in a completely contrasting manner.
It will not only keep you entertained but will also provide you with a lot of information about India.
The Immortals of Meluha:- The first book of the series provides a background about the life of person named as Shiva who is the leader of a small tribe which resides in Mount Kailash.
It describes the journey of the leader of the tribe of Gunas towards its esteemed destiny.
The Secret of the Nagas:- Represents the journey of Shiva from a called god or saviour to becoming a real one.
The Oath of the Vayuputras:- the third and the last book of the series is more focussed on the ways used by Shiva to fulfill his mission or the server the purpose of his selection as Neelkanth.
A lot can be said about Shiva’s Trilogy but the best thing that you can do is to experience it yourself reading the three books one by one and once you do so, you will certainly not be able to stop yourself from thinking about it for days and your mind will be all filled by the ideas and characters of the Trilogy and the journey you have covered yourself with them.
