This is the first part of the shiva trilogy written by Amish Tripathi.The author tries to depict the story of shiva as if he was a human just like us.The story depicts the journey of shiva from being the head of a small tribe to becoming the Neelkanth and becoming the saviour of suryavanshis. The book seems to be easily readable and the narration is excellent.Though the story is fictitious, the author makes us believe this may be the true story behind the legend of the great lord Shiva.I have found out the true meaning of’Har Har Mahadev’ after reading this book:):)
