Hollywood Has Done It Again

Welcome to 2019, a time when the world is so like ours but also so very unlike ours at the same time for the same people.

Confused???? Welcome to ’’THE ISLAND’’. The new Michael Bay movie is simply elating like most of his other movies. This hollywood

KING never believes in SMALL SCALE productions. Armageddon, The Rock, Bad Boys II and Pearl Harbor being a few of his earlier offerings.

Now, what’s different about THE ISLAND is it’s amazing PLOT. It’s a mix of the WACHOWSKI BROS and STEVEN SPIELBERG. It’s sci-fi at it’s best.

The performances by Ewan McGregor(Tom Lincoln/ Lincoln Six Echo) and Scarlett Johansson (Sarah Jordon/Jordan Two Delta) are superb. Johansson has all the makings of

being the next superstar (if she already isn’t one). I liked her in LOST IN TRANSLATION. I loved her in THE ISLAND. Ok, let’s cut to the chase.

What is THE ISLAND about?

There is this utopian facility somewhere under the earth where Six Echo and Two Delta are kept, presumably safe from the outside world which has been infected by pathogens.

Now, there is one place left in the world which is the only place not contaminated and that is referred to as THE ISLAND.

The people who are in the facility are released to the island one by one on the basis of a lottery. The only desire people

in this facility have is to get to the island. But, here lies the catch. Is there really an ISLAND? Is the rest of the world

really contaminated? Once, these questions pop up in Six Echo’s mind, the deep dark secrets of the facility unravel and

he comes face to face with reality. I don’t want to spoil the movie for you guys, so I won’t go further. BUT YOU GUYS HAVE TO WATCH IT.

Everybody who liked THE MATRIX will like this movie. If you couldn’t digest that movie, don’t go for this one.
