I am not a frequent movie goer and really do not like spending hours on the chair watching a movie. Most of the guys at my age have watched and relished Jungle book during our childhood and have fond memories of the same. This was the only reason that propelled me to watch Jungle Book at Cinemax in the vicinity of my place(Diamond Plaza, Jessore Road, Kolkata).
However when the animation started in 3-D it was really inspiring. I never knew that the story was actually written by Rudyard Kipling, which was a nascent information for me. The best part was the 3D effects and the way the story moved forward, keeping thing enigmatic at the every moment. We knew that Sher Khan might die in the end by how it happened was the most fascinating part. In fact every part of the story was so very brilliant, be it the advent of the python with its seductive voice or the influx of the monkeys. I was simply glued to my screen was enjoying every moments with the kids. I simply love this movie and highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. Thanks!
The only word of caution is to avoid taking very little ones as the entire story is centered around a dark theme and kids around 3-4 years might get a bit frightened.
